Gabetoric started on Dec 10 2009. Since that day, the year-end festive season ceased to impress me. Christmas, for two years in a row, threw up nasty surprises at me despite the media-centered focus on joy, jolly and plenty of elves and reindeers.
Yet for all the negativity, the nonsense I had to endure only makes commemorating Christ's birth immensely joyful. Perhaps, this counts as finding joy in suffering.
2011 Christmas, is 17 days away. And I can honestly say, anything can happen, including a peaceful and trouble free Christmas. No ominous signs. No ridiculous burdens. No hints. Clueless me lacks the power to foresee how it will pan out.
But one thing is for sure, 2011 Christmas will certainly affect Gabetoric come what may - this blog started with 13 blog posts in Dec 2009 alone, with half of them centered round unhappy Christmas love stories.
Allow me to reminisce the 2 years of content, with more than 160 blog posts, and re-think the future of Gabetoric.
We'll see.
